Introduction to Silversmithing (Fri. Sep 13th & Sat. Sep 14th)

Please Note: This class is a prerequisite  more advanced courses in the future.

Friday 5:30pm-8:30pm

Saturday  10:00am-4:00pm

You will leave with a finished ring and a finished necklace. The class fee includes 2 basic stones. More stones or higher quality stones can be purchased for an additional cost. 

In this 2 session course you will learn all of the basics of jewelry making and come out with some finished pieces.

What you will learn:

• Making a bezel setting for a stone of your choice 
• Sawing 
• Filing
• Soldering 
• How to make a band
• Stamping 
• Hammering and texturing 
• Polishing and patina
• How to use a rolling mill
